They are looking to appoint a proactive and confident PE Cover Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of teaching staff. You will be working alongside a large and supportive team to ensure that students remain engaged, active and on task, with the opportunity to contribute to the wider life of the department. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with a background in sport or coaching.
Role Responsibilities
- Supervise pre-planned PE lessons, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
- Promote participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles while managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
Skills and Experience
- Experience working with young people (school, coaching, or sports environment).
- Strong interest in Physical Education and sport.
- Ability to manage groups of students confidently and effectively.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow lesson plans and deliver activities with confidence.
