A highly sought-after school in Harrow is looking to secure an English Teacher for a one-year maternity contract to start in September 2026 on an ongoing contract.

This is a unique and ambitious secondary school in North West London that provides an excellent education for the dynamic and diverse community it serves. The school is smaller than the average secondary school with an ever-growing sixth form. The school has high expectations of all their learners and believes that disadvantage or low attainment should not act as a barrier to success. They offer a comprehensive CPD programme that allows all staff to make rapid progress in their careers.

An English Teacher is required to start in September 2026 for an ongoing contract. The English department within the school is very successful, and therefore they are happy to consider both experienced and newly qualified teachers for this role. The role will mainly involve teaching KS3 - KS4 English, but experience of teaching KS5 would be desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to complete Disclosure and Barring Service declarations in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997. You will also be required to provide 2 professional references covering at least the last 2 years and complete our online application followed by a video or face-to-face interview.
