Timeplan is currently working with a large SEN school in the Ruislip area who are recruiting several child support workers to start ASAP. All positions are full-time long-term opportunities paid via the agency.

The school caters for students aged 2-19 with an EHCP for PMLD, Autism (ASD) and complex needs. They have a strong academic focus; however, they also wish to develop students' independence in a fun and nurturing way.

Shortlisted candidates must have previous SEN experience, especially PMLD, complex needs and challenging behaviour. You will be working in a class of 4-6 pupils providing 1:1 support. Classes are generally formed based on age groups, however there will be varying abilities, with some students being non-verbal, therefore PECs and Makaton are desirable. There will also be personal care involved, so in date manual handling training is required. Training in tracheostomy and PEG feeding is advantageous.

Successful applicants are caring, calm and pro-active with a keen interest in SEN. For the right person, the school will offer excellent pay rates and a state-of-the-art working environment.
