The Role:

  • Supporting pupils across the classroom to maximise engagement and progress
  • Delivering targeted interventions in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Gaining invaluable experience ahead of teacher training or further study

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A recent graduate with a strong academic background

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, proactive and eager to learn
  • Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
