The Role:
- Supporting pupils across the classroom to maximise engagement and progress
- Delivering targeted interventions in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
- Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive learning environment
- Gaining invaluable experience ahead of teacher training or further study
The Ideal Candidate:
- A recent graduate with a strong academic background
- Passionate about education and supporting young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, proactive and eager to learn
- Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
