The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 Β£ per year.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work with a school in Eastleigh on a regular basis. As a HLTA you will be working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 providing PPA cover for the class. You will be working from preplanned lessons provided by the class teacher.
This is a long-term temporary position starting in September 2026, ideally looking for someone regularly 3 days a week, though the 3 days are currently flexible.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement tailored strategies to support the child's communication and interaction needs
- Foster a calm, nurturing, and patient learning environment
- Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to ensure the child's needs are met effectively
- Monitor and report on the child's progress, adjusting support as necessary
- Lead from pre planned lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Experience working in the classroom
- Experience working as a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) or Cover Supervisor across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with the child
