Role Overview
We are seeking a Deputy Senco with qualified teacher status, experienced in managing a diverse caseload of EHCPs and overseeing SEND provision across the academy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional SEND support and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. In this instrumental role, you will drive the academy's key priority of inclusive practice, ensuring all students thrive and succeed. You will also be responsible for delivering training and CPD to colleagues, helping to ensure all teachers are highly skilled in supporting SEND students as part of their daily practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the SEND provision for a diverse student body, ensuring all students receive tailored support to succeed.
- Managing and maintaining a varied caseload of EHCPs and acting as the key point of contact for external agencies and families.
- Assist in leading staff CPD and training in inclusive teaching practices, embedding SEND awareness and strategies across the academy.
