Level 3 Childcare Practitioner - Full Time (Primary)
Location: Daventry
Hours: Full time, term time
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly and supportive primary school in Daventry who are looking for a Level 3 Childcare qualified member of staff to join their team on a full-time basis. This role would suit someone who is confident working with young children and has a strong understanding of early language development and phonics.
The Role
You will be working closely with class teachers to support pupils across the primary phase, with a particular focus on early reading, phonics and communication skills. The role includes supporting learning in the classroom, delivering small group interventions and helping pupils build confidence in their speech, language and literacy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of Read Write Inc (phonics) sessions
- Assisting with speech and language interventions under the guidance of teaching staff and external professionals
- Working with pupils individually and in small groups
- Supporting children's communication, language and early literacy development
- Creating a positive, calm and engaging learning environment

- School-based experience is highly desirable, but the right attitude and commitment are just as important.
