The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will
Support pupils across the primary age range, both in class and through small group or 1:1 interventions.
Help children with additional learning, emotional or behavioural needs to access the curriculum.
Work closely with teachers and the SEND team to deliver personalised support.
Encourage confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
The Ideal Candidate
Has experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting.
Is patient, caring and enthusiastic about supporting young learners.
Has a good understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practices.
Is an excellent communicator and enjoys working collaboratively.
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
