If you want real, hands-on experience (not just observing from the sidelines), this one’s for you.

The Role

  • You will be working supporting children at a crucial stage of development.
  • Many pupils have additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH, so your day will be varied, meaningful, and fast-paced.

  • Using play-based and child-centred approaches to support learning.
  • Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and external professionals.

  • Long-term role offering consistency and progression.

We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Psychology or a closely related subject.

  • A calm, patient and emotionally intelligent approach.
  • Confidence to engage with children who need additional support.
  • Any experience working with children is desirable but not essential.

Attitude matters more than experience. If you’re the right fit, the school will support you.

Working with TimePlan Education

  • Free online CPD (including EYFS, SEN and safeguarding).
  • A dedicated consultant who understands local schools.
