We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of German to join the successful Modern Foreign Languages department in an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Croydon.

The successful candidate will be able to teach German across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, inspiring students through engaging and high-quality lessons and fostering a love of languages and global culture.

The Role

  • Teach German up to and including Key Stage 5
  • Plan and deliver well-structured, inclusive lessons that support progress for all learners
  • Contribute to curriculum development within the MFL department
  • Assess, monitor and report on student progress effectively
  • Take an active role in the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or be working towards it)
  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching German
  • Demonstrate high expectations of student achievement and behaviour
  • Be committed to professional development and collaborative working
  • Have experience teaching at KS5 (or the confidence and subject expertise to do so)
