We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of German to join the successful Modern Foreign Languages department in an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Croydon.
The successful candidate will be able to teach German across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, inspiring students through engaging and high-quality lessons and fostering a love of languages and global culture.
The Role
- Teach German up to and including Key Stage 5
- Plan and deliver well-structured, inclusive lessons that support progress for all learners
- Contribute to curriculum development within the MFL department
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress effectively
- Take an active role in the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or be working towards it)
- Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching German
- Demonstrate high expectations of student achievement and behaviour
- Be committed to professional development and collaborative working
- Have experience teaching at KS5 (or the confidence and subject expertise to do so)
