We are seeking an experienced Admin/Cover Manager to join a thriving, Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in the heart of Lambeth. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced school environment and can effectively coordinate daily cover arrangements while supporting the wider administrative functions of the school.

Please note: Only candidates with previous school-based administrative experience and strong working knowledge of SIMS will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the daily cover arrangements for teaching staff, including coordinating both planned and emergency absences
  • Liaising with supply agencies and external cover staff where required
  • Maintaining accurate staff absence and cover records using SIMS
  • Providing administrative support to the school office and leadership team
  • Managing student and staff data, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date
  • Supporting attendance and reporting processes
  • Responding to enquiries from staff, parents, and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times
