We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is dedicated and passionate about supporting children with special educational needs. The school, based in Benfleet – Essex, caters for children and young adults from 5 to 18 years old with varied needs, such as ASD, ADHD, PMLD, Severe Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs.
Your role as a Learning Support Assistant will be to support the pupils on a 1:1 basis with their learning development and care needs while at school. Experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred but not essential. Experience working within a school‑based or care‑based environment is critical, as you must have basic knowledge and understanding of supporting children with learning care needs such as personal care.
