A Good Secondary School based in Barking and Dagenham is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate DT Teacher to start ASAP.

This Community school located in the borough of Barking & Dagenham, are looking to recruit a DT Teacher to join their team ASAP. The school has the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. Through a large investment, the school has recently completed their rebuild and the facilities are fantastic. This larger than average school are very supportive of their staff and are always trying to better their expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders make sure that staff benefit from quality training to help them to contribute towards the school's priorities. From their monitoring, leaders identify the personal training and development needs of members of staff, which they then fulfil." The school has great public transport links nearby with a railway station and tube station both only a 10 minute walk from the school.
Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. They are looking to appoint a talented and dynamic DT Teacher who will be responsible for teaching DT to KS3 - KS5. You will be working alongside a large and very supportive team to work closely together to ensure that the children are given the opportunity to reach their own individual goals. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced DT and Newly Qualified (NQT) DT Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post. The role is to start ASAP and will be for the remainder of the academic year.
To be considered for this DT Teacher role you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- PGCE in DT
- Experience teaching DT KS3, KS4 and KS5
