We are currently recruiting for a number of experienced Catering Assistants to join a welcoming Special Educational Needs (SEN) school located near Dartford. These roles are available for an immediate start, with further opportunities continuing into September. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school environment where making a difference to young people's daily experience is at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

You will be assisting the school catering team with the preparation and service of meals, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and supporting the smooth running of the kitchen and dining areas. You'll be working in a busy but rewarding environment, helping to provide nutritious meals for pupils with a range of additional needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Catering Assistant (school experience is desirable but not essential)
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • A positive, reliable, and flexible attitude
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • An understanding of safeguarding and hygiene standards (training can be provided)

Immediate starts available. September placements also available for the new academic term.
