We are working exclusively with a welcoming primary school in Sutton who are looking for a Psychology graduate to join their team as a Teaching Assistant / Specialist Support. This role is all about intervention, emotional regulation, and building strong foundations for learning.
You will be supporting children at a crucial stage of development. Many pupils have additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH, so your day will be varied, meaningful, and fast-paced.
- Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups
- Helping pupils develop communication, emotional regulation and social skills
- Using play-based and child-centred approaches to support learning
- Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and external professionals
- Making a genuine impact at the earliest stage of education
Proper classroom experience - not just "graduate admin". Ideal stepping stone into Educational Psychology, SEN or therapy routes. Supportive school that values graduates and invests in them. Long-term role offering consistency and progression.
Requirements:
- A degree in Psychology or a closely related subject
