As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals to help pupils achieve their individual learning and EHCP targets while promoting independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support
  • Support students with ASC, PMLD, and complex needs
  • Assist with communication, engagement, and emotional regulation
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and therapy staff
  • Help create a calm, inclusive, and safe learning environment
  • Support with personal care where required

  • Have previous experience within SEN or specialist school settings (essential)
