We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly supportive Alternative Provision setting on the Wirral, seeking three dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team this September.

The Role
- Support students with social, emotional and behavioural needs both in and out of the classroom.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to deliver engaging learning and intervention sessions.
- Help create a calm, structured and positive learning environment.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to achieve both academically and personally.
We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within an Alternative Provision (AP), Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) or a similar specialist setting.
- Experience managing and de‑escalating challenging behaviour.
- A proactive, resilient and adaptable approach.
- Someone who remains calm under pressure and can build strong relationships with young people.
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
