An outstanding Secondary School located in the London Borough of Ealing is looking to secure an SEND Teaching Assistant/ Graduate Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026.

This school is an outstanding non-selective secondary school that has consistently achieved excellent exam results, putting them in the top 5% for student progress. Many of the children who attend the school go on to study at Russell Group universities. They have fantastic modern facilities in a university campus layout, extensive IT facilities, large outdoor playing fields, and one of the largest post-16 centres in London.

The school is looking for a number of ambitious SEND Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible to join their growing team. The successful candidates will be expected to run small group activities and 1:1 intervention as required. The main duties will include:

  • Working alongside the Class Teacher to use your own initiative to enthuse students’ learning
  • Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom
  • Working alongside the other LSAs in maintaining a stimulating Resource Base
  • Discussing observations of students’ work and assisting the teacher in planning for the development of their learning
  • Keeping records of students’ learning and progress and using this information alongside the teacher to recognise achievement and assist the students in setting targets for further improvement in learning
