TimePlan Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Havering seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SEND professional to lead and develop SEND provision within a supportive school environment, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
  • Coordinate support for pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies
  • Monitor pupil progress and ensure appropriate interventions are in place
  • Maintain EHCPs and ensure compliance with SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice
  • Provide guidance, support and training to staff
  • Promote an inclusive culture throughout the school

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or relevant SENCO experience
  • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
  • Experience supporting pupils with a variety of SEND needs
  • Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
  • A child‑centred approach and commitment to inclusion
