- We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic
SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive all-through SEN school in Hackney from September.
- The school caters for pupils with
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and
Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and provides a nurturing environment where students are supported to achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including MLD and SLD.
- Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning and support.
- Assisting with personal care where required.
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils develop independence and social skills.
- Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
