We are currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Site Manager to work within a Primary School based in Harrow on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the school site is safe, secure, clean, and well‑maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the school site daily
  • Ensuring the security of buildings and grounds
  • Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs
  • Supervising cleaning staff and contractors where required
  • Managing health and safety checks, including fire alarms and emergency procedures
  • Monitoring the condition of the premises and reporting faults
  • Setting up rooms and facilities for school activities and events
  • Maintaining outdoor areas, including pathways and grounds
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and site safety procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Site Manager, Caretaker, or Facilities role
  • Good practical skills and ability to carry out minor repairs and maintenance
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and flexible
  • Enhanced DBS check

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or split shifts if required
  • Full‑time hours
