TimePlan Education is seeking flexible and dedicated Teaching Assistants for daily supply roles across primary schools in South London and North Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for adaptable working arrangements, with the potential for long-term or permanent positions for those who impress.
You will support pupils across all year groups, with opportunities to work both inside the classroom and on a 1:1 basis with children who have additional needs. This may include supporting students with mild learning difficulties, including those on the autistic spectrum, and occasionally managing challenging behaviour. Schools we work with maintain high standards and expectations, so we are looking for candidates who bring energy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting every child’s learning and development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and general classroom support
- Assist pupils in maintaining focus and engagement
- Support participation in lessons and learning activities
- Help manage and respond to behavioural needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
- Have experience working with children (preferred)
- Have knowledge of, or experience with, Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Be proactive, patient, and compassionate
- Demonstrate a nurturing and supportive approach
- Communicate effectively and work well within a team
- Be flexible and adaptable to different school environments
Salary: £95 – £130 per day (dependent on experience and performance)
Hours: Typically 8:30am – 4:00pm (may vary by school)
