Are you a passionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor or SEMH specialist looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are working with a fantastic school in Milton Keynes that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour. They are looking for a dedicated, full-time Behaviour Support professional to join their team this September.
What the role involves:
- Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Implementing behaviour strategies and personalised support plans
- Helping students to engage with their learning and achieve their goals
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Providing consistency, encouragement and emotional support throughout the school day
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour
- Be confident using de-escalation techniques and behaviour support strategies
- Be calm, patient, and adaptable
- Have strong interpersonal skills and a team-player mindset
- Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday (8:15–4:30) during term time
