Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Hounslow, supporting pupils across either the Primary or Secondary site.

You will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to help pupils with ASD, SEMH, PMLD and MLD access learning, develop their independence and achieve their potential.

The role will involve 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils with their learning, communication, emotional regulation and social development.

You may also support pupils with behaviour that can be challenging and provide personal and intimate care, including toileting, changing and feeding where required.

We welcome applications from experienced SEN Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Support Workers, Care Workers and candidates with experience working with children or young people.

Previous SEND experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

The ideal candidate will be patient, resilient, compassionate and reliable, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within a specialist SEND setting while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.

If you are passionate about SEND and would like to make a real difference every day, we would love to hear from you.

Successful applicants will be subject to appropriate safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
