About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery in the Gosport area. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Support children’s learning and development through play‑based approaches.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress.
  • Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are always followed.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and education.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • An understanding of safeguarding procedures.
  • Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience with planning and assessment systems.
  • Knowledge of inclusive practice and supporting children with additional needs.
