About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery in the Gosport area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to providing high-quality early years education and care, and who thrives in a nurturing, child-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Support children’s learning and development through play‑based approaches.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress.
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are always followed.
- Work effectively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and education.
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children.
- An understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with planning and assessment systems.
- Knowledge of inclusive practice and supporting children with additional needs.
