Salary: Β£90 - Β£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am β 4:00pm or 9:00am β 6:00pm (depending on the setting)
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for early childhood education? If you're considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or child development, this is the perfect opportunity to gain invaluable experience in an Early Years setting. We are working with a range of welcoming primary schools and nurseries looking for enthusiastic graduates to join their EYFS teams from September.
You'll play a key role in supporting children during the most important stage of their educational journey, helping them develop confidence, communication skills and a love of learning.
The Role:
- Supporting children within Nursery and Reception classrooms
- Delivering engaging one-to-one and small group activities to support early learning
- Assisting with phonics, early literacy, numeracy and language development
- Encouraging learning through play and creative activities
- Helping children develop social, emotional and communication skills
- Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
- Working closely with teachers to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- A recent graduate with a strong academic background
- Passionate about working with young children
- Patient, caring and enthusiastic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn
- Experience working with children (schools, nurseries, coaching, tutoring or childcare) is desirable but not essential
