This welcoming specialist school supports pupils with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Complex Medical Needs and associated communication needs.

Responsibilities
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning.
- Encourage communication, independence and engagement.
- Promote positive behaviour using consistent strategies.
- Support pupils with sensory activities and structured routines.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable.
- A caring, patient and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working with pupils with complex needs and Autism.
- Willingness to support personal care if required.
- Team Teach training is advantageous but not essential.
