TimePlan Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Ashton. This role is to start immediately and offers a rewarding opportunity to support children in a HIVE classroom, supporting children with additional needs.
The Role
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Provide one-to-one or small-group support to help students reach their full potential
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children with SEN (school‑based experience preferred)
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
