About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Climate Risk & Strategy Lead for an exciting opportunity within sustainability consulting to navigate climate-related financial risks, sustainability regulations and investor disclosure requirements. This is a senior delivery role focused on climate risk reporting, financial modelling, transition planning and sustainability strategy. You will work with mid-to-large organisations, helping them assess climate risks, develop strategic responses and align with evolving reporting frameworks including TCFD and IFRS S2.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead climate risk reporting and financial modelling engagements
- Deliver TCFD, climate disclosure and IFRS S2 readiness projects
- Advise clients on climate-related risks, opportunities and transition planning
- Conduct climate risk assessments and scenario analysis
- Support emissions reduction and transition planning initiatives
- Perform climate-related due diligence for investors and Private Equity clients
- Facilitate board-level workshops and stakeholder training sessions
- Lead client projects and manage delivery teams
- Support business development, proposal writing and account growth
- Contribute to thought leadership and market-facing content
Requirements
- Experienced in climate risk, sustainability consulting or climate strategy
- Strong experience delivering climate risk assessments, climate disclosures and transition risk analysis
- Proven experience with TCFD, CFD, IFRS S2, ISSB or equivalent climate reporting frameworks
- Advanced financial modelling capability, including scenario analysis, forecasting and climate-related financial impact assessment
- Experience integrating climate risks into business strategy, governance frameworks and risk management processes
- Ability to lead client workshops, facilitate risk identification exercises and develop climate risk disclosures
- Strong project leadership skills with experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Commercial consulting experience, including proposal development, account growth and business development
- Experience supporting or leading teams, mentoring colleagues and contributing to service-line growth
- Experience working with both transition and physical climate risks, with stronger expertise in transition risk preferred
