Gas Main Layer / Gas Operative Opportunities – Guernsey

We are currently hiring experienced Gas Main Layers, Pipeline Engineers, Gas Operatives, and Installation Engineers for permanent roles in the Channel Islands.

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + overtime & standby (Relocation & accommodation support provided)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, testing & maintenance of gas mains and service pipelines
  • Working with PE pipework (up to/above 180mm)
  • Ensuring full compliance with health & safety standards
  • Delivering high-quality work across utilities projects

Requirements:

  • C&G / City & Guilds (NCO2 Service Layer or Main Layer)
  • Proven experience in gas mains & service installation
  • Strong understanding of gas safety & site compliance

Desirable:

  • NRSWA (Streetworks)
  • GNO1
  • Experience on larger diameter mains (180mm+)
