About the Role

Join a leading NAV utility provider as a Wastewater Operations Engineer, responsible for inspection, compliance, and adoption (S104) of sewer networks across new developments. A field-based role where you’ll ensure assets are constructed safely, compliant with Sewer Sector Guidance, and fit for long-term operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wastewater site inspections (construction, pre & post adoption)
  • Ensure compliance with S104, Sewer Sector Guidance & industry standards
  • Manage NCRs (non-conformance reports)
  • Work with developers, ICPs, contractors & groundworkers
  • Audit competency, safety & compliance
  • Provide technical support & value engineering input
  • Support asset adoption & maintenance strategy

Requirements

  • Experience in wastewater design / sewerage / new developments
  • Strong knowledge of S104, Sewer Sector Guidance & NAV processes
  • Background in consultancy, developer services, or utilities
  • Understanding of design, construction & adoption lifecycle
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement & problem solving
