About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate looking to start a career in sustainability and ESG consulting within a consultancy. This graduate programme is focused on career development through on-the-job training. You’ll join as a Data Analyst, supporting the delivery of ESG and sustainability projects, with a clear progression pathway into an Associate ESG Consultant role. Working alongside experienced consultants, you’ll gain hands-on experience across carbon accounting, ESG strategy, and climate-related reporting. The role combines data analysis, client interaction, and sustainability expertise, giving you exposure to real-world projects within the consultancy from day one and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental impact.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support ESG and sustainability project delivery, including:
- ESG maturity assessments
- Net-zero strategies and emissions reduction planning
- Climate risk assessments
- ESG due diligence
- Impact reporting and disclosures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant field such as Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Geography, Data Analytics, Economics, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data
- Client facing confidence.
- Strong technical data background which includes excel skills (e.g. data structuring, pivot tables, lookups), python, R.
- Ability to interpret data and present clear, logical insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
