Salary: £42,000 basic salary, £45,000+ genuine OTE

About the Role:

We are seeking skilled and motivated I&C Electric Metering Engineers to join a forward-thinking Meter Operator. This role focuses on the installation, exchange, and commissioning of single and three phase Whole Current and CT electric meters within Industrial & Commercial environments. Dual Fuel capability is desirable, with additional work available for engineers holding gas qualifications alongside three phase electric experience. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable, well-supported role with strong earning potential and career development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, exchange, and commission single and three phase Whole Current and CT electric meters
  • Carry out all works safely and in line with industry regulations and company procedures
  • Complete commissioning, testing, and certification accurately
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service on every visit
  • Ensure all work is recorded correctly using handheld technology
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment
  • Represent the Energy Supplier and Meter Operator brand positively at all times
  • Dual Fuel works available where qualified

Professional and Personal Attributes:

  • Proven experience with three phase electric metering (WC & CT)
  • Strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality workmanship
  • Dual Fuel experience and gas qualifications desirable
  • Relevant electric metering certifications (single & three phase)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
  • Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
