Location: Salary + Other earnings £42,000 per annum £2,000 annual attendance bonus (paid quarterly). Quarterly attendance bonus of £500. E.G. Turn up to every workday in January, February & March, receive £500 in your April payslip. Fit bonus - £30 per charger after your seventh installation for the week. Most engineers are completing 9 installs a week with no additional hours worked. Overtime is paid at 1X, any hours over 10 per day is paid out. Van, fuel card, tools, and uniform provided. Pension scheme and career progression opportunities. Occasional overnight stays covered. Ongoing professional training and support.
About the Role: We are seeking experienced and motivated EV Installation/Installers Engineers to join a growing nationwide team. This full-time role involves the installation, testing, and commissioning of electric vehicle (EV) charging systems across various UK sites.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and commission electric vehicle (EV) charging systems
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with electrical standards and regulations
- Complete installations efficiently while maintaining quality and professionalism
- Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repair works as required
- Travel to customer sites across the UK (occasional overnight stays may be required)
- Maintain accurate documentation and use handheld reporting systems
- Provide outstanding customer service and represent the company professionally
Professional and Personal Attributes:
- Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, AM2, 18th Edition or equivalent)
- Experience as an EV-Installer
- Background in EV charging systems installation, operation, or maintenance
- Metering and/or communications experience (desirable but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Three-phase and dual-fuel metering experience advantageous
- PV (solar) experience beneficial
