Title: Account Manager – Waste
Location: Surrey, United Kingdom (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH post-
probation)
Salary: £30,000 + £3,000 car allowance ( Depending on Experience)

The Role:
Our client is seeking a proactive and client-focused Waste Account Manager to join
our high-performing waste division. In this role, you’ll manage key client relationships
and help deliver measurable environmental improvements — including increased
recycling, landfill diversion, and cost reduction strategies. This is a hands-on role
ideal for someone passionate about sustainability and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage 25–35 client accounts across the UK, focusing on exceptional customer
service and waste strategy delivery.
• Identify and implement initiatives that improve client waste performance and
reduce waste costs.
• Conduct UK-wide site visits, lead site mobilisations, and manage service
rollouts.
• Handle escalations, liaise with suppliers, and ensure timely resolution of service
issues.
• Carry out monthly invoice reviews and performance reporting.
• Upsell value-added services to existing clients.
• Contribute to internal waste strategy discussions and best practice sharing.
Professional and Personal Attributes:
• Proven experience in client relationship management role.
• Dynamic personality and excellent client focused communication.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to manage complex issues across multiple client accounts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and reporting tools.
• Excellent time management, organisation, and ability to work independently.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
