Charity Shop Volunteer – Town

Ren\’s Rescue are looking for volunteers to help in our charity shops on Prospect St. No experience is needed as full training will be given, but experience in retail would be advantageous.

There are lots of different jobs that need doing, and we will match you up with the ones most suited to you. Examples are:

Sorting donations
Hanging, steaming, and tagging
Stocking up the shop
Greeting customers
Serving on the till
Window dressing
Keeping the shop clean and tidy

The shops are the main source of income for the wildlife rescue, so it is really important that we have reliable volunteers to keep the shops running as smoothly as possible. We can offer those who donate their time the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, and have companionship, build confidence, and feel good in the knowledge that they are helping so many animals and birds in need. What\’s more, after you have volunteered for more than 20 hours, you will be entitled to a 25% discount on any purchases from the charity shop.
