As a Charity Shop Volunteer at Hessle Road Network, you'll be working as part of a small team to run our charity shop throughout the week, providing valued input in regards to the layout, prices, seasonal displays, and sorting new stock. The charity shop is a great source made accessible to the whole community due to its extremely low pricing and you would be the friendly face welcoming in and ringing up customers. You'll be provided support and an induction, so no previous experience in this role is needed.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Sorting new stock
  • Keeping the shop tidy
  • Using a till for cash payments
  • Opening and locking up the shop
  • Creating seasonal displays
  • Counting up cash and float
