A befriending service volunteer would assist our Befriending Coordinator in running the service, supporting the office in admin tasks and calls to our volunteers and clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Making calls to our older people when their volunteers are on annual leave
  • Conducting welfare checks

Commitment: 1 day a week or 6 hours over the week required.

Training: Provided. Telephone skills desirable, basic computer and communication skills required.
