About Time to Care Specialist Support Services Limited
At Time to Care Specialist Support Services Limited, we enable people to live independently, stay connected with their communities, and involve them in shaping the support they receive.
Our head office is based in Alnwick, Northumberland, and we deliver services across the North of England, currently including Ashington, Newbiggin-by-the-sea, Alnwick, Widdrington, Morpeth, Newcastle, Gateshead and South Shields. We provide a range of supported living options, from purpose‑built complexes of individual flats to single‑person properties, offering 24‑hour support where needed. Alongside support within the home, we also enable people to access and take part in their local communities.
We work with people with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and Down syndrome, tailoring our support to each individual. Our services are not limited by location — we are committed to delivering support wherever it is needed across the North of England.
Established in 2014, we are proud to be recognised as a trusted and reputable care provider. In recent years, we have expanded at a rapid pace, continually growing our services and our team to meet the needs of more people across the North of England. Our commitment to quality and person‑centred care remains at the heart of everything we do as we continue to develop and evolve.
We’re looking for…
We’re looking for people to join us who enjoy making a difference in people’s lives, who are enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated to enriching the lives of our Service Users. You’ll also demonstrate resilience, be able to work under pressure, problem‑solve and have the ability to negotiate challenging situations or behaviours from time to time. We live and breathe our values, which underpin every aspect of the care and support we provide.
We welcome applications from experienced care professionals seeking a new challenge, as well as from candidates with little or no experience who are looking to begin a career in the healthcare sector. Whether you bring proven expertise or are new to care, we offer full support — from completing your initial Care Certificate to progressing through further Health & Social Care qualifications — alongside opportunities for career development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of a dedicated team to provide person‑centred support to service users.
- Enabling service users to lead full and active lives, respecting their freedom of choice, while assessing their needs.
- Promoting safety and wellbeing by taking appropriate action to safeguard service users from harm or abuse.
- Accurately reporting and recording any issues related to service users’ care and support in order to monitor their health and wellbeing.
- Following Health & Safety regulations and taking responsibility for the safety and welfare of yourself and others.
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and guidance.
- Demonstrating commitment to our core values by treating everyone with dignity, respect, and compassion.
What can you expect from us?
From your very first day, you’ll be supported through a structured induction and training programme to ensure you feel confident and fully compliant in your role. Longer term, you’ll have access to ongoing learning, opportunities to achieve recognised qualifications, and clear pathways for career progression as we continue to grow.
Benefits
- A competitive hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications), with opportunities to increase as you develop.

- Access to the Blue Light Discount Card community.
- Ongoing training, development, and support to achieve further qualifications.
- The opportunity to work alongside and learn from experienced colleagues as part of a committed and supportive team.
