Our client, a leading Professional Services Firm, currently has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director with strong Finance Transformation, Global Business Services (GBS), and operating model transformation experience to join a growing Technology & Transformation practice.

This is a senior opportunity for an experienced transformation leader who has successfully delivered complex Finance Transformation programmes, advised senior stakeholders, and helped organisations redesign their Finance functions to improve efficiency, performance, and future readiness.

The successful individual will play a key role in shaping client solutions, leading transformation engagements, developing trusted relationships with senior executives, and supporting the continued growth of the Finance Transformation and GBS practice.

Current or previous consulting experience within a Professional Services environment would be highly beneficial; however, we welcome applications from senior industry professionals with strong Finance Transformation, Shared Services, or GBS experience.

Experience Required:
  • Proven experience leading Finance Transformation programmes within large, complex organisations.
  • Strong understanding of Finance functions, including processes such as Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), and/or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Experience designing and delivering Finance operating models, process optimisation, standardisation, and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience across Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, and/or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environments.
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders and working with C-suite executives to define transformation strategies and deliver business outcomes.
  • Demonstrable experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex transformation engagements.
  • Experience supporting Finance technology enablement programmes, including ERP and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to Finance platforms such as Oracle Cloud Financials, SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP BPC, Power BI, Anaplan, OneStream, or similar technologies.
  • Experience shaping transformation roadmaps, business cases, target operating models, and implementation strategies.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience supporting proposals, business development, and client relationship growth.
Desirable Experience:
  • Previous Big 4 / Professional Services consulting experience.
  • Experience delivering ERP-led Finance Transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies including automation, RPA, AI, and digital Finance solutions.
  • Experience with GBS maturity assessments, sourcing strategies, service delivery models, or BPO lifecycle management.
  • Professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACA, ACCA, PMP, or Six Sigma would be advantageous.
