Warehouse Operative
About the Role:
We are a leading distributor of specialist electronics and are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. This role involves key tasks across various warehouse functions, including goods receiving, stock replenishment, order picking, checking, packing, and despatch. You'll play an essential role in ensuring smooth operations and the timely delivery of orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure orders are despatched efficiently and on time, meeting deadlines before the end of each shift.
Adhere to all company procedures regarding timekeeping, safety, and staff conduct to maintain a high standard of warehouse performance.
Assist in various operational areas as directed by your Line Manager or Team Leader such as packing, labelling and picking.
Use initiative to complete additional tasks during quieter periods to support overall warehouse efficiency.
Collaborate with Team Leaders to streamline processes and maintain smooth operations.
Share your knowledge of warehouse operations to support and guide colleagues.
Perform any other duties required to meet business needs.
What We're Looking For:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards.
A good understanding of Health & Safety regulations and a commitment to following company procedures.
Excellent written communication skills and basic numeracy.
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
Working Hours:
20 hours per week, 15:00 am and 19:00 pm. Monday β Friday.
