My Client offer innovative direct mail production, print and design services throughout the UK and work with independent and blue chip companies. From all of this, we require a casual Picking and Packing Operative to assist us with our growth and the work we deliver.Daily duties will include: -Picking and packing of requested orders when required for varying jobs-To assist with any supporting ad-hoc tasks when required-Ensuring accuracy of information for order-Identifying and alerting management to any errors or issues during the picking and packing process-Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs-Working with managers and colleagues to implement the company’s policies and goals-Identifying training needs-Follow the company working practice in relation to Health & Safety, checking safety of equipment prior to use and reporting accidents and/or injuries immediately-To encourage a positive culture for Health, Safety & Environment and ensure effective systems are in place-To ensure the Safety of themselves and others.-Maintain a clean working environmentThey require packing staff to undertake a verity of duties from preparing and packing goods to other warehouse duties.
