Job Description

Clinical Unit Manager

Location: Islington, London (N7)

Pay rate: £23.00 per hour + Excellent Benefits

Hours: Days – 33.75 per week

Time Recruitment is recruiting for experienced Clinical Unit Manager to join a luxurious, well established nursing home is Basingstoke, known for providing the highest standard of residential, nursing & dementia care.

You will be joining leading national care provider with over 100 homes and have been established since the 1980's; as a Clinical Unit Manager here you will join an employer who have been awarded investors in people; awarded the employee experience award and secured 2 big wins and 1 high commendation at the care home awards!

The service is ran by a longstanding RGN nursing home manager and has 87 beds split across several different units, as a Clinical Unit Manager here you will have oversight of your own unit; it will be no more than 23 beds and you will ensure clinical excellence and governance as part of a wider nursing and clinical management team; you will be fully endorsed and be joining a group with an industry leading leadership programme!

Responsibilities as a Clinical Unit Manager here:

– Providing high quality care to residents

– Medication rounds, catheterisation, peg feeding, palliative care and dementia care

– Supervise & delegate tasks to the care team

– Care planning & assessments

– Providing clinical governance and auditing support alongside a compliance manager

Applicants for the Clinical Unit Manager role need to be NMC registered; and have a minimum of 3 years nursing experience in an elderly care/nursing home setting.
