Company Overview:
Due to growth and increased project volume, our client is looking to appoint a permanent Site Manager to join their expanding team. The business works extensively on a framework, delivering high-volume, fast-track refurbishment projects across the North of England.
Role Overview:
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing retail refurbishment projects on site from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day site operations
Conduct site inductions and ensure strict Health & Safety compliance
Manage subcontractors and trades on site
Monitor and drive programme progress
Coordinate snagging and ensure project handover is smooth
Report to Contract Managers overseeing the account
Project Details:
Typical project duration: 3-5 weeks
Project value: £400K – £1M
Workload: Fast-track, high-volume refurbishments (small format retail)
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in retail refurbishment (ideally small format)
CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications preferred
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work long hours and stay away if required
Hours & Working Pattern:
12 days on, 2 days off
10-12 hour working days
