Job Description

Job Title: Plumber / Heating Engineer

Location: North West Based

Occasional travel further afield, including some weekends and overnight stays.

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary & Benefits: £18 – £24 per hour (DOE)

Company van provided after probation (immediately for senior Pipefitter). Must have own tools.

Start Date: ASAP (Between 11th – 21st)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage small-scale mechanical projects, particularly plant room installations.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
  • Carry out pipefitting using various methods: screwed, welded, and press-fit.
  • Oversee and support team members (typically working in teams of 3).
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Proven experience in plumbing and heating engineering, especially in plant room environments.
  • Ability to run small projects independently.
  • Strong skills in pipefitting and mechanical installations.
  • Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Qualifications:

  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification (prefferred).
  • Relevant trade qualifications and certifications.
