A well-established, fast-paced fit-out specialist with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality interior projects across the UK. With a robust pipeline of work and long-standing relationships with a number of blue-chip clients, they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor for the Warrington office.
Role Overview:
This role is ideal for a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience, who is currently operating at Project QS level and ready to step up towards a Senior QS role. You will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple fit-out projects, often running concurrently, within a framework-led delivery model.
The role offers a dynamic blend of office, site, and remote working.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full commercial responsibility for multiple fast-track fit-out projects from pre-contract through to final account.
Work closely with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners to ensure commercial success across frameworks.
Prepare and manage interim valuations, variations, final accounts, and cost reporting.
Undertake subcontract procurement, negotiation, and contract administration.
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities across your portfolio.
Liaise with blue-chip clients and key stakeholders in a professional and proactive manner.
Support the Commercial Lead in developing junior team members and ensuring best practices.
Requirements:
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of post-graduate Quantity Surveying experience within the construction or fit-out sector.
Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge (JCT or similar).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Willingness to travel as needed to project sites.
Based within commutable distance of Warrington with flexibility for hybrid working.
