Job Description
Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Location: Potters Bar, EN6
Salary: £36,000 – 38,000 per annum + £5,000 Welcome Bonus
Hours: Full-Time – Permanent – Days or Nights
Are you a compassionate and dedicated RMN Mental Health Nurse looking to make a real difference in mental health care? Join a well-established 24-hour service in Potters Bar, supporting young people and adults with acute mental health conditions.
This facility also has a CAMHS Tier 4 Low Secure services for individuals aged 13-18 and is conveniently located just minutes from the M25 and Potters Bar Train Station-with a bus stop right outside for easy commuting.
The unit is 11 beds and has incredibly high staff nurse to patient ratio's; your role as a Mental Health Nurse here will be to nurture good therapeutic relationships; recovery and relapse prevention; promoting coping skills and strategies and supporting with substance misuse.
Your Role as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN):
– Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to service users
– Lead on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
– Mentor and support your team members
– Monitor and document changes in service users' conditions
