General Labourer – Manufacturing Operative
Location: Oldham
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 14:00 – 22:00

Our client is a leading foam and fibre filling manufacturer based in Oldham, specialising in the production of mattresses, seating, and specialist foam products. Due to continued growth, they are seeking General Labourers to join their busy manufacturing team.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
- Experience within the foam industry would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
Main Responsibilities:
- Operating machinery and feeding raw materials into the production process
- Manufacturing foam-based products to required standards
- Packing finished products ready for dispatch
- Preparing goods for delivery
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
