The Role
We're working with a leading main contractor specialising in refurbishment and fit-out projects who are looking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to support their growing pipeline of work.
You'll work closely with Operations, Bid, and Estimating teams to build and manage a strong subcontractor and supplier network across projects in education, healthcare, hospitality, and student accommodation. This role is heavily focused on subcontractor delivery, so experience managing and negotiating with subcontractors is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
- Negotiate with both national suppliers and smaller subcontractors
- Support tendering, mobilisation, and project delivery
- Monitor performance and drive commercial value
- Review pricing and respond to market changes
- Maintain a strong, reliable regional supply chain
- Support rebate and value improvement initiatives
About You
- Experience in Supply Chain / Procurement within construction
- Strong subcontractor management experience (essential)
- Refurbishment experience preferred (open to mixed backgrounds)
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
- Experience across multiple sectors or full project lifecycle is beneficial
- Background with main or tier-one contractors desirable
Package
- ~£65,000 - £70,000 (DOE)
- ~ Car allowance (~£6,300)
- ~27 days holiday + bank holidays (buy/sell option)
