A highly respected law firm with a strong presence across the North West is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their prestigious Private Client team based in Chester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support a team renowned for its expertise in private client work, including inheritance and capital gains tax planning, trust management, and the preparation of tax-efficient wills. The team is ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, reflecting the high calibre of work and client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality secretarial support to partners, solicitors, and consultants
  • Produce and process legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage fee earner diaries and coordinate appointments
  • Handle telephone enquiries and liaise with clients professionally
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and photocopying

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a legal secretarial role, ideally within a private client or WTT department
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
  • Strong communication skills and a confident, team-oriented approach
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
